Emotional Freedom Technique and Good Intentions

EFT is a wonderful way to address any blocks to success that can occur when you make a plan to change your life. These blocks can contribute to you falling short of fulfillment. Goal setting and EFT, when used together, can significantly increase your chance of success. EFT is an easy-to-learn technique, and after one session you will be able to reduce feelings of guilt, inadequacy, sadness, and grief as well as any other negative issue that may be coming between you and your successful outcome.

Often, there are thoughts that are “in the background” that negate your good intentions. These are called “tail-enders,” and using EFT can eliminate these blocks to success. An example of this is when you say to yourself on a conscious level, “I am going to lose weight.” However, in the background there is often a thought that says, “But I haven’t been successful in the past so why should I be able to do this now?” This is just one example of the many “tail-enders” that may be interfering with your success.

If on one hand you are making one positive statement and at the same time making one that negates the first, it is difficult to follow through with actions that lead to fulfiling your goals. This is why efforts seem to take so much energy. It is as if you are fighting against this resistance. EFT can eliminate this negative self-talk and conflict that interferes with you fulfilling your dreams.

There are two options that can get you started with EFT. It can be learned in a one-day course that is offered here at the Quinte Naturopathic Centre, or a one-on-one session can get you started immediately with follow-ups to ensure you stay on track and fulfill your goals.

Please see our coming events on our website to stay current on course dates. To make an appointment for an individual EFT session, please call the office or contact us using the form here.
