Can changing the food you eat really make a difference?

Author: Dr. Quinte Naturopathic Centre on 31 August 2015

It can if you let it.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. It's a basic truth that will never be able to find a loophole for. You many be able to use all sorts of heroic measures to buy you some time, but in the end it all boils down to one basic truth.

The food you eat should be packed with nutrients

That means it doesn't come from a box even it that box is touting all kinds of "healthy labels".

That means it wasn't made in a manufacturing plant.

That means it can go bad on you if you don't eat it in a reasonable amount of time.

That means there are no commercials for it on TV.

Changing the food you eat really can make a difference.

BUT...and there is always a but...only if you let it. This means you need to choose and then take action (and I really hope you do!).

Here are 2 ways to help you get started whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced.

1. 10 Day Group Detox (beginner - intermediate)

This 10 day detox begins with an information seminar on Monday Sept. 21st at 6pm at QNC with Abbey. She will go over what you can expect during the 12 days, what you should be eating, what you should be avoiding, and how to take your detox supplement. You will then get a daily email from Abbey to help keep you on track, along with a meditation video, AND a yoga video that you can do as often as you want during the twelve days to detox your body along with your mind. To register email reception@quintenc.ca or call the office at 613-966-9660. Cost is $60 + HST (this includes the detox supplement).

2. Eat Real Food Academy (intermediate - advanced)

This course is for people who want to take healthy eating to the next level and get re-focused on their health by removing processed food from their diet. This is a 4 week program + a pre-week to set yourself up for success. This is an online course that has 4 core topics that are covered over the 4 weeks: Introduction to Nutrition, Limiting Beliefs, Psychology of Eating, and Moving Forward in a fake food world. Participants in this program report improved energy, better sleep, better mood, less pain, no bloating, and less belly fat! Registration opens online on Friday Sept. 4th - Monday Sept. 14th, 2015.
