5 signs you need a hormone detox

Think about your hormones like a symphony orchestra. When they are all working together in harmony it is a beautiful experience. But when one of them is out of tune, it can be a hot mess!

Keeping hormones in balance is one of the greatest challenges that women AND men have in modern society.

Our fast-paced, jam-packed, toxin-laded, nutrient-deficient, sleep-deprived lives make it harder and harder for the symphony to stay in tune. But, there is a solution...One of the quickest & most effective ways to get back in tune is a properly executed hormone detox.

So how do you know if you need a hormone detox?

Here are 5 clues that a hormone detox is a good fit for you:

  1. You have heavy periods, cramping, or PMS symptoms like bloating, breast tenderness, headaches, and moodiness
  2. You have cysts or fibroids on your ovaries, uterus, or breasts
  3. You have peri-menopause OR andropause symptoms (night sweats, sleep disturbances, weight gain, lack of sex drive, irregular cycles, hair growth in the wrong spots, losing hair where you don't want to, low testosterone)
  4. You have a pear body type or cellulite on your upper thighs
  5. You have a family history or breast, uterine, or prostate cancer

I will be doing my own hormone detox this spring. It is my goal to do this every year because I have a strong family history of breast cancer, plus I want to keep my hormones healthy for the long term.
